One Earth

How Many Of These Planets Have You Seen?

Get the facts about the planet Earth in the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

There is only one that we know of. It isn't Venus, it isn't Jupiter, it's the planet Earth and it is the only habitable planet we know. Which is aside from the fact that it is the only planet we can reach. Some people talk about UFOs and other planets which might be habitable by Humans, but even if they exist they are millions of miles away and our fastest jets would be traveling for multiple lifetimes just to get near them.

An important issue pertinent to our earth is the quantity of available resources. As you can see above there is a limit to available resources. Once we have reached that limit through the accumulative system of economics it will be necessary to destroy the accumulative system and implement a resource share with a central distribution plan. If we do not there won't be any further evolution on Earth.

On Earth probably 98% of the oceans are merely unused water, and probably 80% of the land is unused land. This implies that we have a long way to go before we even master this planet, let alone some prospective planet millions of miles away. The first step to take in mastering this planet would be to master ourselves as intelligent beasts on this planet.

First we must agree that there is only "One People, One Earth, One Truth" and work together toward conquering those rather than fighting over slices of pie.

The Earth, and however misinterpreted, our own biological conditions are governed by science. Thus it is the science of our Earth and ourselves with which we as intelligent beasts should be concerned and on which we should spend our time and resources. The science of ourselves and our Earth is not a toy for corporations to make money or college professors to dabble with in their free time, it is the basis of all life and progress.

We are stuck on this tiny planet within an enormous universe and relative to the enormity of the universe we are like ants crawling on the surface. We can fight and argue for hundreds of years but as anyone can plainly see it means absolutely nothing in the overall universal picture. The only way we can conquer this universe is by conquering ourselves and the organization of our societies.

As individuals fighting causes for separation and accumulation we can accomplish very little because there is just too much contradiction and chaos. Whereas, as a unified world society fighting one cause, the mastery of science, we can jet through history into a future wherein we all have what we want and need and still we have both the time and resources to make even more progress. It's really all just a state of mind. We can be in a progressive state of mind or a decadent state of mind and, in truth, the only way anyone would ever choose the later is out of ignorance. Well, it is precisely this ignorance that UCOM is attempting to alleviate so read on and "let's get it started in here".
