Ideas For A Better World
I will expound upon that basic knowledge by adding that travel is the cheapest means of educating the citizenry. Travel forces the one engaged in it to think and evaluate the unique predicaments that they find themselves in. It costs society nothing except perhaps a little confusion which results from having apparently lost citizens, travelers, roaming around, initially.
The current day social structure does everything in it's power to negate the value of travel. They even penalize and restrict social benefits as accords with term of residence. This is absolutely ridiculous because it inhibits the development of individuals and thus the common lot of society.
On the contrary, the society of tomorrow must promote to the point of "giving a shove" the travel and relocation of citizens. This alone will enhance the intellect of the citizenry by a margin of some 50%. Producing a more dynamic and robust citizenry. Travel for leisure is ridiculous, life is an economic procession all of it's engagements must focus and center on this reality.
The society of the future will therefore have to provide all the means for citizens to pack up and leave to a completely new location on the globe with a completely new career at the destination with zero restrictions even if the individual has zero qualification for the new career. Allowances for such nuances must be provided on site at all social-corporate centers, or previously known as cities. Every man woman and child will be in constant transition from location to location and from corporation to corporation. No longer will dynasties of the privileged rule industry, but rather dynasties of the complete set of citizens with provision for a constant tide of new births - ever expanding.
90% of modern day companies like to restrict and base employment on term of previous occupations. While being a general indicator of stability in particular fields it is also an indicator of belonging to a particular caste and or frame of mind. Excluding based on caste or frame of mind is a direct path to Insanity, or a deluded conception of reality. The best means of maintaining your own sanity and vitality is to manage a quick intake - output scenario as an alternative to screening for like minded individuals who would by definition have the least to contribute. If the frame of mind were all inclusive it could not function as a screen, consequently screening employees based on frame of mind indicates insanity, a separatist, incomplete conception of reality.
I'm thinking of a society that starts in the middle with a building made of a particular reusable material and continues outward with that same material to cover the complete land surface area. The entire city as one building which is continuous and all inclusive. With hallways, vehicle pathways, living areas, business areas, etc.. Zero separation like this would make the expansion of any city an indoor job because the one structure would grow from the main outward. Transportation of goods within the continuous facility would be a matter of conveyor belts rather than cars and trucks. Pockets in the structure could provide access to preexisting out door areas like parks, ponds, etc.. Imagine a forty square mile building structure within which everything was almost completely automated. Eventually even the expansion of the building could be a constant job of robots who work day and night at repairing and expanding the zero separation building structure within which Humans live, work and play.
With zero separation populations could increase tremendously and likewise the amount of work getting done. Something like New York City where even the streets were built over. All the processes of social life could be carried out with a functionality not unlike that of the assembly line. Conveyors transporting thousands of items to and from various areas of the structure with one or more sections of the structure devoted to receiving products and materials from remote locations, or other zero separation cities.
With this type of system I'll bet the entire USA population could fit into a zero separation city the size of Texas. Everything could be planned with expert precision in the beginning so that all possible issues were covered before the structure was began, like the plumbing, trash, electrical, transportation and ventilation systems.
You can see that this zero separation approach is already happening by mere natural selection everywhere around us. Look at the malls - (mall of America), shopping centers, and resorts. We need to include everything in one building structure replacing whole cities and realize that this is an unavoidable evolutionary adaptation.
Karl Marx made an incorrect inference when he declared that it would be necessary to eliminate the distinction between town and country. That is impossible! On the contrary, country - (separation) must be eliminated.

Now let's look into the future:
Our building blocks were once granite stone set with mortar. Now our building blocks are bits and pieces of metal fastened together with clips and screws that can be dismantled and reused if necessary. In the future the system will almost certainly be one of building blocks which fit and clip together without a need for a fastening system and completely, decidedly reusable. We need to be able to reuse everything all the time and any where. Only then will we be in complete coincidence with universal reality. Which is to say have building structures which are completely dynamic, portable.
Now a look into our global transportation system:
The cost of transportation is the main ingredient in a global economic system. Consequently, all eyes will be on reducing those costs for a long time into the future. This will result in the development of an unprecedented global transportation system, eventually. To that end I have this to say:
There are three ways to implement a global transportation system:
- Under ground.
- On ground.
- Through the sky.
Under ground is obviously too expensive. Ships don't count as global transportation because they are not a complete system. Items transported by shipping must subsequently be transported by Air, or ground to reach precise destinations. Trains don't count for global transportation because they can not reach over oceans. So the Air transportation system is the only true global system. But the Air system is a cumbersome system at best. It is a very accident prone means of transportation. The skies can only hold so many planes before congestion becomes a big problem. Consequently, it is my view point that the best type of global transportation system which could be implemented would be a global high speed train system raised above the ground by some hundred or more feet on pods.
A pod covered Earth
Imagine a train system elevated above the Earth on structures I'll call pods. the pods will be completely portable and a completely adjustable, portable, track system will connect on top of the pods. If such a system went into production it could start small in one state in the USA. Once the system of pods and track are perfected it would simply be a matter of the type of pods to use for the geographical location and connecting the track. Huge several mile high pods could be located in the deep oceans to connect tracks through those locations. It is a dynamic system and could be started on a small scale which might eventually envelope the entire Earth and create a transportation system so vast and flexible that trains could run around the clock, completely automated, delivering goods to and from every point on the globe.
A Straight Focus On Production (top)
Holidays and general celebrations must revolve around production. Better that we celebrate a new invention by some citizen and have however large a group give focus for some period of time to the man who contributed the new invention than that we should have the man celebrate his and or another's birthday, or other holiday irrelevant to production, outside of the productive cycle.
Centralizing and focusing the value that we attribute to human endeavors so that value revolves around the forces which proliferate human life will literally transform this planet from a massive playground of chaos to a concise, growth oriented civilization (I see the current day as a state of precivilization).
If a man realizes that creating a new invention or producing the best product will give him a "Social Focus" and all of the gains associated with that, for example the admiration of societies beautiful women, etc. people will compete to advance the quality of life for all rather than the quality of life for just themselves by figuring out a way to steal some money. Within such a valuation scenario personal gain external to production would have little meaning as it would not be accompanied by social ceremony and consequently no attention as would bring around the things that a human seeks from his / her fellows.
I presume that the necessary suppression of normally occurring antisocial maniacs, serial killers, rapists, etc, can and will be done on the community level by the group of people amongst whom the antisocial maniac developed.
One of the largest problems with the current world is that it puts too much complex responsibility into the hands of the not so complex citizenry, which includes undeveloped children and young adults. These responsibilities revolve mostly around the need to maintain one's livelihood within a complex social economic structure by discovering a need for, or market for, your own abilities which is sufficient to support your survival.
Even the previous paragraph will be too complex for some of the citizenry. Yet, this society makes no allowances for such handicaps. Children and young adults are the main victims because they are the least qualified, being adolescents. But they are not the only victims. There are a billion things that might and frequently do intervene in a persons life to cause aberrations which so compound the individuals social - economic picture that they become lost, withdrawn and, basically, non - functional citizens.
I see this as the largest impediment to social progress in the modern world. A complete lack of structure as pertains to the organization, and implementation of human energy, which is economic machinery.
Currently, as a result of this, millions of human lives are having to be "covered up", annually, by institutions, juvenile detention, prisons, mental hospitals, even cemeteries, which in no way enhance social progress, but rather diminish the sum of social energy causing a stifling of progress.
To solve this problem in the future I propose that a new organization be established; ESO.
ESO (Economic Security Officers)
The function of the Economic Security Officers (ESO) will have nothing to do with law enforcement or punishment. Yet they will prowl through society keeping a constant vigil on the citizenry. What they will be concerned with is helping the citizens to remain inline with social economic process.
Any time a citizen enters a new city, country, or area the Economic Security Officers (ESO) will run a check on that person's economic function. That is a backgrounder checking what the persons skills - career - attitudes - and inclination are and inquiring as to the nature of their business in the new town, or area. Most, if not all, of this inquiry can be done without coming into direct contact with the citizen. It can be done via complexly integrated computer networks that not only the citizenry, but the officials use to guide themselves through their daily chores in society. Any time the Economic Security Officers (ESO) find a citizen who appears to have no definite purpose in the new area, or an existing citizen in the area who appears to have no definite purpose, economic position (or, simply, job) it will be the duty of the Economic Security Officers (ESO) to contact the citizen directly and assign them an economic purpose, position, or a job, immediately.
Thus the Economic Security Officers (ESO) will maintain zero unemployment, zero economic chaos, in their respective areas. It should not be the business of the Economic Security Officers (ESO) to question WHY, or HOW a citizen has come to be without purpose (or job, or housing) in the new area. Those issues are an entirely different field of organization and MUST NOT be hindered in any way. On the contrary, the Economic Security Officers (ESO) will simply check the network for this citizens skills and abilities and work with the citizen briefly, on a traffic stop type of basis to immediately assign an economic purpose to the citizen.
A citizen credential system can be developed to track, the progress or lack their of, of each citizen's cooperation with the Economic Security Officers (ESO). That is, after having been assigned "a purpose" by the Economic Security Officers (ESO) has the citizen followed through with their social assignment in the past? Citizens can even be given advancing or diminishing wages at social assignments according to how well they cooperate with the guidelines of the Economic Security Officers (ESO). If their are questions as to the skill set and so forth which exists in the network database those matters can be taken up in branch offices of the Economic Security Officers (ESO) who can communicate with the educational institutions and the community from which the citizen originated.
In Summary:
Economic Security Officers (ESO) will comb through the highly mobile population of the future checking citizens for whether they have a definite structure for themselves providing housing, food, and employment. If they discover a citizen for whom these things are in question they will immediately stop that citizen and work with them, and a network database of what is available, to assign these most basic of social requirements, housing, food, and employment.
With the Economic Security Officers (ESO) society will be able to maintain zero chaos as pertains to the functionalism of the lives of the citizens. This will allow for a much greater extent of mobility in the population and will provide a broader range of skills, experience, and knowledge to the citizenry. Mobility of the citizenry is very important because it causes them to develop their own minds to higher levels of awareness without the need for social investment. Thus the Economic Security Officers (ESO) will do nothing to question the reasoning behind the relocation of the citizens. They will only ensure that NO CITIZEN is without a means of sustenance, social purpose, or job and living arrangements in any area at any time.
The uniform wage scheme is a way to line citizens up with their real qualifications as opposed to lining them up with the desire to earn high wages. Imagine a doctor earning the same wage as a builder. Who would choose to be a doctor under such circumstances? Those who truly have interest and qualification in the field. As the material located within the links above indicates bonuses will level out some of the distinctions between the two career requirements. Bonuses I will add that are to be provided to high achievers only. The system will elevate the qualified and allow the unqualified to live a healthy non obstructive life.

To solve the inheritance problem we need go no further than the simple reality that children are not private property.
For all of a mother's pains and sufferings she deserves the comfort and joy which she derives from her child. But as all things this too must arrive at a termination point. There must be a point, age, at which every child becomes a New Citizen, and ceases being a mother's child.
In view of the many strong emotional ties which exist between children and their parents this is a matter which will have to be given intensive scrutiny and even research. In truth children do become New Citizens and are distinct beings who must be set on their own path within society.
I make the following proposal:
Children should be raised by their parents until puberty after which they should be surrendered to a New Citizen initialization program within which they will be taught all of the responsibilities of citizenship and rise to their individual statuses in society as accords their own innate abilities. All monetary ties between parent and child being severed; nothing is inherited. If a successful parent wishes to adorn their child with pleasantries the most they can do is provide resources to the entire New Citizen initialization program but no individual child.
In this way the qualification of the citizen will be the only means to their further successes. It also allows society to continue rewarding citizens with abundance for extraordinary contributions because when that citizen dies the abundance goes back into circulation to be available for any other New Citizen who makes social contributions of an extraordinary type.
In the New Citizen initialization program New Citizens, young adults, should be exposed to all available educational materials and the reality of production based civilization. As usual each young adult will excel in a particular area of social life and this will be the foundation for their future contributions, rewards, and functionalism within civilization.
Society is not prepared to make a leap of this magnitude into social development at present. There exist too many variations in the people to even call them all citizens, as some, no doubt, would opt out of such a denomination. Before this development can be implemented the people will need to be unanimous on the idea of citizenship and racial integration will need to be more advanced than it is at present to thwart prejudices toward the children in the New Citizen initialization program.
Navigating this planet is of primary importance in all human economic endeavors and being that a human is no more than economic endeavors navigating this planet stands as a primary concern in enhancing human life.
To that end, I suggest forfeiting all the generic road, street, and highway names and implementing a road, street and highway naming system based on global coordinates. A system such that a person always sees their location as a point in global space rather than neighborhood space. This will not only contribute to every persons sense of belonging to a global community but will also, immeasurably, enhance the accuracy of the transportation systems.
Roadways, streets, and highways running East and West should have names corresponding to latitudinal coordinates.
Roadways, streets and highways running North and South should have names corresponding to longitudinal coordinates.
If I'm standing on Main street in Paris, France how does that relate to Tierra Delfuego in Argentina? Well, currently nobody has a clue. The answer would require investigation, or research, but under my new system the answer would be in the names themselves.
