Human beings are
selfish. It is an intrinsic aspect of human nature which arises from
our biological constitution. I will now explain this as clearly
as I can so that everyone will understand.
Human's have no thought which is not completely
selfish! It doesn't work like this: "Well sometimes I'm selfish and other times I'm not.". This is an example of confusion in the mind which results from a vague and incomplete understanding. All life forms are completely selfish in every thought and every endeavor and are not biologically capable of anything else. Now I will explain why this is true. To understand why every human thought and action is completely selfish requires an understanding of what human thoughts and actions are. Thinking is the process of adding and subtracting words or symbols in the mind. Why do humans add and subtract words and symbols in their minds? Every human thought or action must first have a reason. When you get up in the morning you put on your shoes because the ground is dirty, rough and because everybody else wears shoes. Why don't you get up in the morning and put gloves on your nose? Because there is no reason to put gloves on a nose. In other words every human thought must be preceded by a reason for thinking that thought. Likewise every human action must be preceded by a reason for doing the action. For example: I must calculate my bills to see if I can afford to buy a new radio. The thought is "calculating bills", and the reason for the thought is "to see if I can afford to buy a new radio". Now that we understand that every thought or action must have a reason we need to look into the definition of reason. Think about the reasons behind some of the things you normally do.
Notice how all the reasons behind the things that you do relate to solving problems that You have. This is not just a coincidence! There is a biological reality behind this. Think of darkness. Now think of extreme darkness. How did your mind go from mere darkness to extreme darkness? It thought about removing light. Why did your mind think of removing light to understand extreme darkness? Did you ever try to make a room darker by removing darkness? Impossible, because if you remove darkness the room becomes light. Whereas if you remove light the room becomes extremely dark. This is Relativity! Relativity is the basis of all thinking or calculating with any device whether it is a computer using zeros and ones, binary 01, or a human thinking of darkness and light. Thoughts can only take place because we have two or more pieces of information that we can relate to each other. No thought can exist without a Relative basis to define it! And every thought must have a reason. The first thing we do when we are born is start collecting pieces of information, knowledge, with our five senses; sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. But what is the reason for collecting information? This is the critical piece to this entire puzzle; the reason we collect this information is to solve our own problems. Every thought, or action requires reason and the reasons must relate to self or they have no meaning to you because everything in your mind is understood relative to self. After all you only collected information which was necessary for you to solve problems that you need to solve. Therefore humans are completely selfish and can not be any other way by either thought or action. Of course you can still be kind and even generous to others, but now you must see it in the light of what it really is; you are being kind and generous because it pleases You to do so. |
