UCOM's Tribute To Andrew Carnegie |
"Carnegie believed that the wealthy had
an obligation to give back to society, so he donated much of his fortune to causes like
education and peace." Quoted from America's Story It was Andrew Carnegie who paid for many of the public libraries in America. We all owe him too much to measure. Without his libraries I would not have the education I have and UCOM would not exist. I didn't obtain any of my education from modern educational facilities, excepting perhaps elementary school which I attended sporadically. - JAB |
